6th most common cause of cancer-related deaths. Most liver cancers occur on the background of cirrhosis. Multiple treatment modalities both surgical (including liver transplantation) and non-surgical (TACE, TARE, RFA, Microwave ablation, radiotherapy) are available for the successful treatment of liver cancer. The choice of treatment depends on the stage of cancer and the condition of the underlying liver.
