Gall Bladder Cancer

Cancer of the gall bladder is very common in north India and unless treated early carries a very high mortality. Gallbladder stones are common in patients with gallbladder cancer. This cancer tends to remain asymptomatic for a long time. Upper abdomen pain and weight loss are common symptoms. Surgery is the only curative treatment for this cancer.
