Cancer of Pancreas

It can arise from the head, neck or body of the pancreas. It usually presents with loss of appetite and weight loss. Timely surgery in the form of Whipple’s Pancreatoduodenectomy (for cancer of the head pancreas) followed by chemotherapy results in good long-term survival.
