Neuroendocrine tumors are a class of tumors that can arise anywhere in the chest or abdomen. They have varying cancerous potential. The pancreas and liver are common sites of these tumors. Multimodality treatment that includes chemotherapy and surgery including liver transplantation is associated with excellent long-term survival.
